Meet Jabra at European Collaboration Summit 2024; May 14-16

As a platinum partner of the European Collaboration Summit 2024, Jabra will showcase its portfolio of intelligent audio and video collaboration solutions at booth #42 CB. During the event, Jabra will also host an exclusive session and live demonstration of the Jabra PanaCast 50 together with Microsoft on 16 May.

Enabling AI functionalities

Artificial Intelligence and how it is reshaping work and collaboration will be one of the hottest topics at this year’s Collab Summit. Jabra is excited to demonstrate how professional audio and video devices are playing an integral role in this development and how Jabra devices are designed to support and work perfectly together with Microsoft’s AI functionalities, now and in the future.

The Jabra PanaCast 50 video bars feature Microsoft’s IntelliFrame solution with multiple video streams, as well as face and voice recognition functionality. This gives in-room participants a dedicated camera view and provides a more inclusive experience for remote participants. Jabra’s video conferencing solutions are also the first front-of-room devices to be certified to work with Microsoft’s new Intelligent Speaker functionality, which identifies who said what in a Teams Room meeting and accurately records it in the meeting transcript. Equipped with eight beamforming microphones, PanaCast 50 ensures that contributions from those taking part in the conference room can be captured, attributed to the speaker and transcribed as effectively as those of remote participants.

Edge AI Processing

All Jabra PanaCast solutions, including the PanaCast 20 personal camera, feature AI that is managed on-device with Edge processing. This means advanced experiences are generated directly on the device without data being sent to the cloud for processing or the need to install additional software. All functions run on the device itself, significantly minimizing the risk of security breaches and maximizing speed and accuracy. The high-power Edge-AI processing chips do not only enable AI capabilities now, but also in the future, as Jabra is continuously improving the experience by optimizing existing features and adding new ones through Value Pack software updates.

Jabra and Microsoft have worked closely together to make the PanaCast series an essential component of unlocking these AI-powered features for individuals, teams, and businesses. Visitors to the Jabra booth can experience these and other intelligent features, as well as the professional headset and speakerphone portfolio, live and in action.
